MCM ADDITION . Conshohocken, PA
This project is for an addtion to an existing 1,600sf 1960’s MCM home. The task was to add a new lower level entry and 4-car garage for the Owner’s car collection with a new living area and office on the main level. The solution was to ‘T’ the addition into the existing home, utilizing the existing driveway and creating an entry point that not disrupt the home’s interior layout. This created a double height glass entry, that connects the garages and finished basement on the lower level and the new living area and office to the existing home on the upper level. The facade was designed to integrate the existing home seemlessley with the addtion. The new garage has 3 bays, one with a 2-car lift to accomodate the 4-car requirement. This allows a car to ingeniously be put on display from within the Owner’s office on the main level.
